MY FAVORITE RAINCOAT

WHAT’S NEW!

5 new pix added:  Beth wearing her lemon-lime green slicker to summer camp, and 4 close-up scans of my slicker's rainhood visor (from my school days).  The darker green curve lines on the scans show where my visor has been gently creased, bent, and flipped into a lovely, nice, roundish ‘bubboly’ pouf—I bend its right side slightly upwards first, secure it with a small clip, then—bend the left side that same way—curving the bent flip at the same time (resulting in crease pockets on the sides, near where the clips are placed).  I then gently bend the outermost curve downwards towards the center, forming a lovely, graceful dip towards my eyes.
I came up with this nifty technique for keeping my rainhood visor flipped some time after I saw Chrystal wearing hers that way.

Here's the visor from my slicker's rainhood.    Here's its underside.

NOTE:  I didn't post any updates at all between Sunday 04/13/2003 until Friday 07/28/2006—that was  for over 3 years...  But I thought very hard about how to best update this website, and gathering new printed scans from library microfilm rolls, and recoloring them manually at home, and preparing them for this website.  I've also been busy with my other obligations.

2 new pix added:  Marlene (as shown here below, and on our front page) wearing her nice, sweet lemon-lime green 'Cape Cod' raincoat (with a pink sweater on underneath)—and Debby (below) being gracefully covered in her bright lemonade yellow slicker (with her hood on, but not yet tied, and making a nice hand-held gesture beside her hood-covered head), about to venture off into a rainy day outside her home.
